Hello Moory

Plastic surgery is a large field and there are specialists in each
field. Also, being the "best" at anything is always a subjective
thing and who someone regards as the best someone else may not. What
I can offer you is the best way to choose your plastic surgeon in
London and/or the UK.

The doctor should be a member of the British Association of Aesthetic
Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). This ensures that the doctor is fully
trained and registered with the General Medical Council. BAAPS also
ensures that the doctor keeps up to date with the latest practices and
attend regular training.

Further information on why BAAPS accreditation is essential:
http://www.baaps.org.uk/why.htm

The BAAPS website also has detailed information on each of their members:
http://www.baaps.org.uk/why.htm

Also take the time to read the items under the "About Plastic Surgery" menu.

The doctors that are located in London are given here:
http://194.205.122.66/webapp/baaps/servlet/BaapsDisplay?purpose=regionsearch&region=london

If you wish to compare the waiting times for each surgeon there is a
good guide for this here:
http://www.drfoster.co.uk/home/compare_consultant.asp?body=7&condcode=116&specid=160&name=&pc=London&loc_type=town

To get the best plastic surgeon in London I would therefore suggest
you choose a few from the list at the BAAPS website that are qualified
in the area of plastic surgery that you require. These surgeons will
be among the best in London and if you take the time to visit (or
email) a few they will be able to advise you on the procedures you
have to take.

If you decide to choose a doctor from this list please ensure they are
also BAAPS accredited.

If you have any further questions on this subject please ask for
clarification and I will do all I can to help.
