I have a very old stock certificate #2 issued 1919, for Southern
Alberta Coal Company Limited, cost of one share was $1500.00. How can
I find out about it's worth, I can't find it's existence, how can I

I have emailed a currently existing company that may be the successor
to the Southern Alberta Coal Company.

My shot in the dark did not pay off - - I had hoped that your company
had been absorbed by the Canadian Pacific Railway.
"After a check through our finding aids and an inquiry with the Office of the
Secretary who are responsible for such stock certificates, we must advise you
that Canadian Pacific Railway Co. did not have any business dealings with the
Southern Alberta Coal Company re issue of stock.
Sincerely
