Hello lilias-ga,
There appear to be two publishers that create first edition reprints,
largely of classics and popular literature books. They are:
First Edition Library, with close to 100 titles
and
Collector's Reprints Inc., with around 50 titles to choose from.
==========
The "top ten" titles available from First Edition Library include:
For whom the bell tolls
The postman always rings twice
The dragon murder case
The heart is a lonely hunter
Absalom, Absalom!
Tobacco road
The age of innocence
One flew over the cuckoo's nest
The Wapshot chronicle
The house without a key
A similar list for Collectors Reprints Inc. includes:
A farewell to arms
Leaves of grass
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
Tortilla flat
The Bridge of San Luis Rey
Winesburg, Ohio
The grapes of wrath
Main street
Tender is the night
Miss Lonelyhearts
A good and varied selection from the two publishers, as I'm sure you'll agree.
Oddly, neither publisher appears to have a website of their own. And
odder still, the well-known bookseller sites such as amazon.com and
Barnes and Noble don't do a great job of finding the reprints by these
publishers.
But happily, a search of Google's "shopping" counterpart site, Froogle:
http://froogle.google.com/
does a pretty good job, and produces lists that can lead you pretty
quickly to the titles available, along with ordering information on
individual books. There are a few red herrings in the list, but for
the most part, these two links below should get you quick access to
most of the first edition reprints.
The first link is for books published by First Edition Library, and
involved a Froogle search on the terms ["First Edition Library"
reprint ]:
http://froogle.google.com/froogle?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%22first+edition+library%22+reprint
Similarly, a Froogle search on [ "Collectors Reprints" ] produces
another good list:

Edgar Rice Burroughs. Now these jackets are offered in facsimile
