Generally speaking, are there part-time, weekend/evening jobs in
Episcopal parishes for a well-educated person that pay and which
would allow me to some day work my way up to becoming ordained.
Before I broach this subject in my own parish, I would like to get
background information, thus the question.

Of course Episcopal Parishes are like any other organization in that
they may or may not have any jobs available.

As for entering the Anglican Clergy, how familiar are you with the
discernment process? Are you involved in any volunteer work?

There may be some work available on a diocesan level if not locally.
Would that be of help? Even the nature of your parish may have some
bearing on things. The experiences looked for in the discernment
process are a little different in High Anglo-Catholic style parishes
than in the more Evangelical (Low) Parishes.
