Yes, thank you, I don't know if this doctor is the one we are looking
for, but it seems hopeful. The only information we have is from my
father, in South Africa, where several people have mentioned recent
success in Italy. This is the most precise information we have found
to date.
My clarification is not so much about the answer itself, as the
research you have done to get the answer: does your research point to
the possibility of other useful information being available as to
cutting edge therapeutic advances in curing brucellosis in humans ?
If I posted a fresh question for a hundred dollars, do you feel we
would stand a fair chance of getting our moneys' worth ?

As to other possible advances in treatment, I'm afraid my research
into your question did not explore this, since I was very focused on
finding research results only from sources in Italy. There may well
be advances in other locations, but I did not make any attempt to look
for these in my earlier research.
You asked about posting another question. My advice would be -- Go
ahead! There is no real risk in asking.
Researcher here will generally not attempt to answer a question unless
they feel they have information that fully meets the client's needs.
If you are dissatisified with a preliminary answer for any reason, you
can certainly ask a researcher to look for additional information. If
you do not receive satisfactory results, you can request a refund.
