USGS Quad Sheets in Arizona

Request for Question Clarification by pafalafa-ga on 21 Jun 2004 09:29 PDT
204telluride-ga,

There are several online services where you can view detailed topo
maps for Arizona at various scales, and then save the map to your PC
and print it. You can also order the precise map or maps that you
want in a variety of formats (including large format, USGS-style maps)
and have these mailed to you for a fee.

Is this the type of service that you are looking for, or did you have
something else in mind?

Hi there,

Taking your other post on Google Answers in consideration, I have
found you the top sites to purchase hard copy USGS topo quad sheets of
Cochise County, AZ (in most of the sites, sheets are available for the
entire state). In addition to your request, I've found several maps
that are specifically useful for hiking around that area, and CD-ROM
with downloadable maps so that you can plan your trip using your
computer, print the maps yourself, or download the sheets to your
handheld. Since these are hard copy sheets, you are able to purchase
them on your way to Cochise County; if you have trouble finding the
address of these companies, please let me know and I will post the
specific address for you.
