Question ID: 36416
What's the size in terms of sales of the consumer electronics market
for the US , Europe, Asia and the rest of the world from 2002-2006?
What percentage of these will be networked?
Numbers year by year would be best.
By networked I refer to systems which are compatible with one or more of
the following: power-line, home-rf, rfid, bluetooth, wlan etc.

Many thanks

Yes it's a forward looking projection that I would be looking for. I
understand that by definition these numbers are speculative, but I'm
looking for a more detailed breakdown of these projections.

Dear waterwater,

Is the market you are referring to the Audio and Video Equipment market?

Thanks for asking. Pardon the reply, as I was on holiday over the
weekend.
I'm not just referring to the audio or video market; but rather the
much broader market for 'smart' appliances such as consumer
electronics, home lighting / temperature / energy controls, building
automation and, of course entertainment systems for audio and video
equipment.

Are you searching for a speculative comment?
As 2002-2006 looks forward in the future.

Therefore definitive numbers wouldn't be relevent
and I could only offer you predictions or opinions.
If you could please clarify I'm sure you'll get
the answer you need.
