Please refer me to examples of web-sites with Question and Answer
services.

The ideal Q&A service has a person/panel/company/organization... (or
whoever) offering tailor-made response within a week or so. Of less
interest are more static FAQs(Frequently Asked Questions)where users
cannot ask questions.

The examples could be from ANY sector.

Greetings, alsinger!

Are you looking for Free Q&A services, Pay services, or will either do?

How many examples would constitute an Answer for you?

Regards,

I am at an early stage of planning a website with a Q&A service. Will
deal with trade aspects of products/commodities from developing
countries. Advice will be free of charge. Will be simple in structure
and lay-out as some users have limited knowledge of Internet use and
many have modest facilites where huge texts, pictures, advertising
etc. makes use very slow.

I have come across a few web-sites with Q&A service which have been
good inspiration. E.g. www.netdoctor.com (or www.netdoctor.co.uk and
5-6 others in same series but in different languages). It is a free
service in most countries, but not all. Answers.google.com is also
good for inspiration. I am just looking for other examples to see the
structure, the policy, the disclaimer, the lay-out, composition of
response-panel, response time etc. for inspiration.

Whether answers are offered free or paid for is not important as long
as I can open and navigate around for inspiration.

Ideal with ten examples of web-sites, but even three-four would be
fine if they are good.

The luxury version of an answer includes some comments from
you/answers.google on the web-site examples traced.........Why you
think they are good or not good.

From the IT industry viewpoint, try checking out the following sites:

www.experts-exchange.com (points-based system)
