I have tried previously to get puzzle answers to Saturday NY Times
crosswords and been unable to do so.  Is there a quick way to get
these answers?  I only
need these answers for Saturday puzzles inasmuch as I do not get the Monday
NY Times where the answers are printed.

Your local public library most likely has a subscription to the Times
- so you could either go on Mondays to look up the answers or give a
call to your librarian to ask for specific answers (this is not an
uncommon ocurrence!).
