Help. I had to reformat my laptop. so i burned my important files and
folders to a cdr using nero 6. I must have used mixed mode cd or cd
extra by mistake. Now After reinstalling everything I can't read the
data on the disk. Win xp explorer sees the disk as an audio disk with
1 track and it plays a song. Nero 6 sees the disk as having 2 tracks
an audio track (track 1) and a data track (track 2).

I need to take this data track and some how get it back onto my hard
drive as the files and folders it once was. I hae no idea where to
even begin. Please someone tell me this is easy to do and give me
dummy proof instructions. Please.

get iso buster, insert your cd into your cd drive and see what format
iso buster is reading the media as... perhaps it is possible to
recover from these CD's, but to start, you have to know what format
you used.
