A 92 year old relative (with no children) asked me to be his guardian.
 I find his house has a reverse mortgage; and he may realize 50,000
from the sale.  He is expected to live a year in a skilled nursing
home.  Medicare will pay 90 days (soon up); then $185 a day.  I need
to know if i should pay a prepaid funeral now; and how to make the
balance stretch long enough to finance the medical costs invovled.  I
live in California and have been flying back and forth to wisconsin. 
Any suggestions?
