I have about 6000 messages in my inbox, on a FreeBSD server that I access through telnet and read messages directly from the server using PINE. I would like to forward all of the mail in the inbox to my new G-Mail account. However, since G Mail does not current allow POP3 connections, there's no way to pull all of these messages into my G Mail account through the G-Mail interface. So I guess I have to push all these messages from the other side to my G-Mail account. I already have a .forward file set up, but this only forwards new mail sent to this account, not messages in my PINE inbox. I know about fetchmail, but this only gets mail from other servers, and I want to do the opposite. Is there any script or program I can use to send all of these messages over to G-Mail? |

While that did not work, I found this link on the page that looks like it will do the trick: http://www.aaltonen.us/archives/2004/04/tip_batchforward_email.html Thanks! |
