Question ID: 364923
I am about to begin a project on the ways that Leonardo Da Vinci
influenced the advancement of anatomy and medicine through his many
studies, drawings and sketches. Can you find some good sources that
provide the information I'm looking for? Specifically books that are
available in most libraries, links to credible websites, links to his
actual sketches, or maybe books that contain them. As well as
anything else you might find that could be a reference for this topic?
 Many thanks.

Hello rjhtamu,

I have compiled a list of resources that I believe will be useful to
you. Since I don?t know where you live, I am unable to check if your
local public library stocks books on da Vinci. However, the library
may have at least some of the books I have listed for sale online.

Online Illustrations
====================

You can see numerous daVinci anatomical sketches here:

Some other sketches can be seen on this personal site. (These are all downloadable

Books
====================
Of course not all libraries will have all books! If your local library
does not have a book, you can inquire of a librarian about
inter-library loans. This is a free service to patrons at most public
libraries.

Vinci by Leonardo, da Vinci, 1452-1519. New York : Excalibur books,
