I would like to find an online money transfer service in English that
will transfer Euros from my bank account in Belgium to my bank account
in Australia. Importantly I'd like a service that has a low (ie at
most 1000 euros) minimum transfer amount. I'd love it if you could
find something that is automated after an initial set up, so that I
can transfer money with a minimum of fuss. Yahoo Paydirect is the sort
of thing I mean, except that they don't offer the service in Belgium
or with Euros.

Just use 2 PayPal accounts.  Use account1 to send money to account2. 
Use account2 to send money to the bank.

but the minimum transfer amount is higher than you are looking for.

These look quite good, I think what you have provided is an answer,
thank you. OzForex is not what it seems, if you need to work in Euro,
the minimum is 10000euro so that's what prompted my question.
