Hi woobundo!

Thanks to a lead by researcher Smudgy-ga, and to the lyrics posted by
Pinkfreud, I was able to find your song.

The song you are looking for is ?Danny is a Mirror to Me? by Bobby
Goldsboro, released as a single in 1971 on the B side of ?Poem For My
Little Lady.? It was also released on Bobby?s album, ?Come Back Home?
(Track 9) in 1971.

I was unable to find the lyrics, so instead, for your listening
pleasure, I?ve posted an mp3 version of the song for you to download
here:

If you use Internet Explorer, right click on the song title and choose
?Save Target As? to download the file. Let me know when you?ve got it,
and I?ll remove it from the site.

Happy listening! Hope it brings back good memories.

-K~

Someone else is also looking for this song. A few more lyrics:

"Dirty little face, two big laughin eyes
Nothing could replace that look of half surprise
When I come home, 'hey what'd you bring to me'
 That's him, That's Danny

 Smart as he can be
 Always on the run
 Though he's only 3, you'd swear he's 21"
