I can't read the signature of the artist on a 1940's or 1950's
European oil painting. It ends with "mer". It has "Viktoria Maltuch"
stamped on the back of the painting. On the frame it has Tex7329594
written on it in 3 places. Burl Anderson is written in pencil on the
frame. It is a beautiful landscape of a mountain peak.

Kristyne,

Would you be able to post a digital image of the signature on the web
and post the URL for it here? That would help greatly.

Regards,

Just a note for my colleagues: "Viktoria Maltuch" is not the name of a
woman. "Viktoria" is a brand of artist's supplies, and "Maltuch" is
German and means "painting cloth" = canvas.
