Hello, i just installed Suse 9.0 on my laptop. Suse detects my Compaq
WL110 card and I configure it using the Yansty (sp?) tool, but when I
type ifup eth1 it displays the Compaq card information but says it is
not configured, please help me get this thing working.  I know you may
need more information, please, let me know.

what is the result when you do a "ifconfig". Do you see information
for eth1 listed?
Also are you trying to connect to a server/router that uses dhcp

to setup the card to use dhcp you should try
netcardconfig eth1
or
dhcpcd eth1

Also does your wireless network use mac filtering or WEP ?
