I have recently moved to the City of Brighton & Hove, UK. I am male
and work full time. I am interested in activities I can undertake in
my spare time in the local area, that will help me meet new people.

The activities may be hobbies etc, or perhaps voluntary work, but not paid work.

My interests slant towards computers, museums and other technical
areas rather than sports, although I would consider less athletic
sports such as table tennis and badminton.

Very good links on volunteers - although I did feel the question had
wider scope - did you find anything on non-volunteer activities?

Hi again!

I am really sorry for missing out some aspects of your question. Here
are other activities you can go to in Brighton & Hove.

Since sports is ok as long as not so physically intensive, golf will
be a good alternative. I can't find anything about Badminton for this
area.

Thanks!

Some useful results, but the question stated activities to help me
meet new people. The answer was very narrow while I felt the fee
supported a more encompassing answer.

Welcome to to the fair City of Brighton & Hove.

There are now TWO members of the GA Community here: you and me.

Easterangel, as always, has produced some great ideas.

There's always a lot going on in this neck of the woods and you might
pick up some more ideas from the Friday-Ad which is a freebie that
surprisingly comes out every Friday.

You might also stroll along to one of the Libraries. Hove, in
particular, always has lots of posters scattered around on various
upcoming events.

It's a great place to live.

Me? I've been EVERYWHERE but I live here from choice.

You've made a great move.

walkies..........

She also likes to travel...........

Hey, Mongolia

Where do YOU live?

Brighton is 55 miles from London and even in a fast car it takes three
days of traffic jams to get from there to here, if all goes well.
