Is there a fan website for Benno Furman. He is the guy in the French
movie "The Princess and the Warrior."

Both Benno Fürmann and the film "The Princess and the Warrior" ("Der
Krieger und die Kaiserin) are actually from Germany.  There does not
appear to be an English-language fan page for Benno Fürmann.  However,
there are three addresses for the German-language "Benno Fürmann Fan
Page," all of which point to the same content:

There is only a little English content on the site, in the "Gästebuch"
(guestbook).  To find translations of the site's pages, first go to
AltaVista's Advanced Web Search (
http://www.altavista.com/sites/search/webadv ), enter "benno" in the
"all of these words" box, and "sauternet.com" in the "only this host
or URL" box.  Then click "More pages from www.sauternet.com" on the
results page.  Finally, click "Translate" next to each search result,
and then again on the "Babel Fish" page.

It's time consuming, but hopefully it's worth it!  (Perhaps you can
also post a comment in the guestbook agreeing with previous requests
for an English version of the site.)

Justaskscott, Thanks for the answer a/b Benno Furmann. I fell in love
w/ him  in "The Princess and the Warrior" but, when I searched the web
for info on him. I hit all dead ends. I am going to try the websites
you suggest here. However, I hope these english translation stuff
works. From the comments, I am getting, it looks like I am going to
run into problems, But,he is so worth it. Always, Ms. Evans

There is also a Yahoo! Groups dedicated to Benno Furmann which you can
find at:

It appears that this group is fairly new and has only 10 members at
this point, but it may be a good resource to find other information.

Use Google translation :-)  It has no ads!

The problem with using Google translation in this case is that Google,
for some reason, does not list all of the pages of this web site.  So
that's why I recommended AltaVista.

Use Google Language Tools at
://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en and type in the address for
Google to translate.  If you have the Google Toolbar (incredibly
useful), you can use the translate tool on any page that you see.
