What CAD (computer aided design) packages offer automated drawing
standards conversion? It is important to also know the approximate
dates when these features were first offered in such packages.
A drawing standard is one of DIN, ANSI, JIS, or even a company specific standard.
Example: Conversion is the process of starting with a CAD drawing (2D
drawing) that uses ANSI standards for dimensioning data converted into
a new CAD drawing (2D drawing) that represents the same dimension data
using DIN standards. This implies that the original dimensions and
tolerance values that were first in imperial units are in metric units
after the conversion.
