With regards,
i am asking for any and all information that you can provide me
with (in)regards to Dongshin Hydraulics Co. Ltd. which is located in
busan south korea. They manufacturer, import, and export hydraulic
injection molding press machines. Their U.S. subsidiary is Dima,
located in Paramount California, and have plants in south korea,
russia, and now *china (which will be ready for production in July of
this year 2004). I am focusing my efforts on all of their business
areas including and surrounding handest and electronic "housing" or
modules- (the box)- and integrated componets..ie. semiconductor chips
ect..!
i am interested in their customers and or partnerships that they may
have within these fields..i.e handset and "box" makers purchasing
their hydraulic injection molding machines. Further, and for
refinement purposes I have a particular interest in the new china
facility located in ningbo, china and its operations...how big, and
what type of revenue will be produced with this companies new focus on
electronics and "housing gear". I know its a lot of info so i put the
maximum dollar on the research. Thank you very much and i look forward
to reading....

coffeetime-ga,

It is obvious from your question that you already have a good deal of
background information on Dongshin Hydraulics.

It would be most helpful to the researchers here if you could tell us
what you have used as your key sources of information. That way, we
won't spend a lot of time searching through the same sources, only to
tell you things you already know.

Thanks.

Hi there,

I have some good news. I am currently in Seoul, Korea, on business
and I will be here for a few more days. I will drop by Busan and find
out as much as I can about Dongshin Hydraulics.

Cheers,

coffeetime-ga,

One more question I'd like to ask (aside from how much do you already
know and what sources do you have) is, are you able to read written
korean language? I'd like to know whether the information will need
translation or not.

Thanks,
Tox-ga

Wow...I thought I might be able to get you some good information on
this company, but it would be hard to beat input from someone who's
actually in Korea and can do some digging around. I'm curious to
learn what my colleague, tox-ga, can come up with.

In the mean time, here are some of the titles and snippets from
articles I've uncovered. Let me (and tox-ga) know if all of these are
familiar to you already, or if any of this might be new and valuable
material:

Cheers.

Thank you for your reply. I've scheduled to speak to a representative
at their main office on Tuesday. There, I'll bring up the relevant
questions and report my findings here. Also, I am currently going
through online and offline Korean resources for unbiased third party
reports as well. I plan to search through Chinese sites and
periodicals once I am done with research in Korea.

Basically, I will avoid posting any information that is available in
english and on search engine results because you seem to have gone
through it already.

Cheers,
Tox-ga

i believe Tox-ga is attempting to answer the question or questions
that i have posted...its has been some time since i got any feedback,
and i find it hard to believe that there is not any information out
there on this company..Injection molding machines used by auto
industy, electronic industry, home appliances, home trimmings, ect...i
know there is still a little bit of time left on my question(s) and
was just asking if anybody could help. i hope someone can. thanks

Hi there,

I apologize for the delay; it's been quite a busy month in Korea with
the personal business and this research combined. I've been reluctant
to post an answer so far because I've found less than I hoped to
(couldn't find answers to all your interests mentioned in the original
question) and also because it is quite time consuming to browse
through, interpret, and translate data from Korean language. However,
I have been working persistently, filtering out information that is
already available in the english articles, speaking to as many people
as I can, and slowly translating one resource after another. If you
are able to wait a few days longer and would like the result of the
research, I'd like to request that you repost the question addressed
to me (ie, Attn: Tox-ga). Please let me know what you think.

Cheers,
Tox-ga
