I am looking for a company in Miami (or fort lauderdale) that can
strip paint off metal objects by dipping them in a tank of
solvent/remover. These paint stripping/dipping companies are pretty
common but I need to find on in Miami-Lauderdale area. I have about
20 aluminum panels (4' X 8') that have old paint on them and i want to
strip it all off to the bare metal so that i can have them
powdercoated (repainted). Thanks.

Would you be interested in another method of removing the paint from
your material. I have talked with a company that powder coats aluminum
and they do not use a dipping process.

the panels need to be dipped in a tank of stripping solution because
they have numerous layers of paint and traditional methods would take
too additionally there are nuerous corners and hard-to-reach places.
so a dip tank would take it all off.

Sorry, I should have been more direct with my first statement. From
personal experience (with steel) and from talking with the company
that powder coats aluminum, I thought that you would have to
eventually sandblast the sheets for a good mechanical bond of the
powder coat. My thinking was that why do two processes when one would
suffice. As to the numerous corners and hard-to-reach places, you will
have to be able to sandblast these areas also anyway. My personal
choice would to just sandblast without dipping, but I do understand
your position. BTW, I was not able to locate anyone to do the dipping
near Miami.
