Hello Maria777

The information I have been able to discover tells us that Richard
Buckley was the conductor whilst Audrey Stottler sang Turandot, Dario
Volonté sang Calaf and Amy Burton Liù. This was for the production on
28 April, 1st/4th/6th May 2001. Other members of the cast included
Kenneth Cox, Daniel Mobbs, Matt Morgan, Joseph Frank, and Hugh
Russell. Audrey Stottler was one of the three sopranos who performed
in the celebrated 1998 Forbidden City (Beijing) production.

"Stottler's performance was much more than sheer power, although that
was felt from the moment she opened her mouth. Her voice was nicely
rounded and never shrill. She also sings softly very well. In fact,
her performance made one think of movie studios in the 1930s which
signed their stars to long-term contracts. Stottler has several
appealing roles in her repertoire and should be brought back as soon
as possible." - PittsburghLive.com
