my apartment was flooded from a faulty installed dishwasher, installer
was landloads hired worker.  For 18 days there were fans, wet carpet,
and hte flooring in the entire down stairs of my unit had to be
repalced.  Do I have to pay rent for those days I counld'nt live in
unit?

Have the place turned upside down for mold.  It took me weeks and tons
of beach to kill the smell after a broken pipe.  Did they pull the
carpet?  You may want to think about moving.
