I'm looking for a copy of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission report, an HTML version of which I believe might still exist in your cache version of http://www.polity.org.za/govdocs/commissions/1998/trc/index.htm. Searching for that url doesn't give me anything. You guys have that in a cache somewhere, or know anywhere else I can get this report (volumes 1-5 specifically)? |

I have not examined this in detail to be certain that it contains all portions of the report, but the parts that I checked seemed to be intact: Internet Archive Wayback Machine http://web.archive.org/web/20011006054341/http://www.polity.org.za/govdocs/commissions/1998/trc/index.htm If anything is missing, you might be able to retrieve it by accessing a cache from a different date: Internet Archive Wayback Machine http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.polity.org.za/govdocs/commissions/1998/trc/index.htm Occasionally the Internet Archive Wayback Machine is out of service, and sometimes it is rather slow in loading pages. If you have any problems with the site, the best thing to do is try again a few hours later. Cached copies may not be available forever; you may want to save each archived section of the document to your hard drive so that you'll have an easy accessible, enduring copy. I hope this is precisely what you need. If it is not, please request clarification; I'll be glad to offer further assistance before you rate my answer. Best regards, pinkfreud |
