In the movie, "Scream 3", it is revealed that the main character's

 of "Rena Reynolds", I'd like to know who the ACTUAL actress in the

The name of the actress in the photograph is Lynn McRee.  Apparently,
she was the same actress that was used in the photographs of Sidney's

Hi again,

I'm quite sure that the actress is Lynn McRee after doing a little
more research.  It is very possible, though, that she has used
pseudonyms.  So that could explain variations (Linda, McCree, etc.)
found in her name.  At the time that I originally researched the
question, I did see rumors that they were photos of Rose McGowen, but
I ruled that out because it didn't seem very credible to me.  I'm
sorry, I probably should have included that information in the answer.

After re-researching, I did find places that say that the actress
Scream and Scream 3 wasn't Lynn McRee at all, but Priscilla Pointer as

The reason I'm ruling these out is because they all seem like "fan"
sites and don't seem that credible to me.  Although, I will look into

I would say that your best bet to find out for sure would be to check
out that DVD commentary.  It's very possible that they took old
headshots of Lynn McRee and used them as the photos in the movie.  I
suspect that Wes Craven will have to be the final word on this one.

There was a slight flaming discussion over the possibility
of it being Rose McGowan or Priscilla Pointer also. But it
seems that more people agree on some variation of McRee or 
McCree

Don't forget, IMDB content is provided by people on the net
and is only verified by others making corrections to the data.
So Lynn McRee may or may not be correct. That's no reflection
on analogkid.

Yes, in 1 and 2 (and 3 now)the adult-age pictures of Maureen Prescott
are of Lynn McRee, but the young pictures in three don't
really even resemble a young Lynn McRee. I could be totally
wrong, and she gave them some pictures from her youth,
but I'm almost sure it's a different actress/model.
(Three cheers for frame-by-frame DVD's!) lol
Where is Wes Craven when you need him?
I'm still researching as well, so I'll look into the Rose or
Pricilla possibility, and maybe we can tackle this.

OK, I'm giving it to analogkid.
I found the "eggs.com" site when I did a search
for Rose McGowen + Scream 3, and two of the 
people there said that in the DVD commentary 
that Craven says its old stills of Lynn McRee.
I haven't gone back home to check this out, but
its probably right. This being the case, its
pretty sad that she let herself slide so much
over the years, she was a cutie. I couldnt't even tell it was her. lol

If anyone finds a picture of those pictures on-line please
