I need to get food delivered for a party in Arleta, CA from a Papa
John's in Van Nuys, CA.  The restaurant itself won't deliver because
the distance (a few miles) is too great.  Food delivery services I've
found through my own searching either don't service Arleta or only
work with certain restaurants which do not include the one I want. 
What services exist that can handle this exact delivery on a saturday
evening?

Have you considered regular Messenger delivery services? I've found
several that can handle your needs, but they're not food delivery
specialists. If you'd like that information I'll be glad to provide a
short listing of 24/7 Messenger/Courier services that deliver to
Arleta from anywhere in the Valley.

If they are willing to do the delivery specified, even if it isn't
their primary focus, that is sufficient.  If it's unknown whether they
would do the delivery, that won't help me.

The most reliable delivery service has got to be, the do anything for
a buck Papa Johns Delivery Driver. I Betcha anything there are several
pizzaboys who would love to make some more dough. Just call and talk
with a regular employee, Im sure one would be happy to bend the rules
a little bit on his night off. And it will probably cost you less than
a delivery service, just make sure you reward the good driver.
