I'm looking for statistics on likelihood of crash / injury from tire
blowouts on passenger cars. I've found lots of information on
prevalence of faulty or underinflated tires. I'm also not terribly
interested in percentages of crashes that were caused by tire
blowouts. I am looking for the opposite connection... how many
blowouts of various types lead to crashes, not how many crashes were
caused by blowouts.
