Hello and thank you for your question. There are three possibilities for tomatoes LL genotype (phenotype = long} Ll genotype (phenotype = long due to dominance) ll genotype (phenotype = short) And all the possible crosses are LL x LL (genotype LL phenotype long) offspring 100% genotype LL phenotype long LL x Ll genotypes, phenotype both long) It's hard to draw a Punnett square in this format Take a look at http://www.borg.com/~lubehawk/psques1a.jpg In your question, you'll see the 4 possibilities for genotypes are LL LL Ll Ll So in percentages is 50% LL 50% Ll And due to dominance the phenotypes are 100% long. Ll x ll (phenotypes are 1 long, one short) In the offspring the four genotypes are Ll Ll ll ll So in percentages 50% Ll 50% ll And the offspring phenotypes are 50% long 50% short Ll x Ll (phenotypes both are long) In the offspring the four genotypes are LL Ll Ll ll So in percentages 25% LL 50% Ll 25% ll And the offspring phenotypes are 75% long 25% short ll x ll pheotype short offspring genotype 100% ll phenotype short That's it! No search terms this time - - but you could take a look at http://www.borg.com/~lubehawk/psquprac.htm#Answer%20to%20Q1 for additional background. Thanks for letting us help. If you find any of the above unclear, please request clarification. I would appreciate it if you would hold off on rating my answer until I have a chance to respond.
