What are the steps required to change a workstation's domain and what
should you document before you change the domain of a workstation?

1) You need to have a domain to switch to.
2) You must have administrative access (full control) of workstation
3) You must have an account (login and password) on the new domain
that is capable of accepting a workstation (usually administrator or
one who is an administrator account) to the domain.
4) XP/2000: right-click on My Computer, Properties
5) Computer Name/Identification, either the Network ID or Change

I don't think there's anything you might wish to record. Just realize
that the documents and settings for a repeated username is usually
under c:\documents and settings\username for the original domain and
c:\documents and settings\username.newdomain for new domains, if the
username is repeated.
