Hi there - I'd argue that number of visitors is a poor indicator of "top of the line" status - your best bet for good websites that aren't biased as much as the commercial ones will be sites available from the MedlinePlus index from the US National Library of Medicine. Check out the health topic for bipolar disorder, for instance: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/bipolardisorder.html Hope that helps! LibrarianKT |

This is a very popular site that is well-regarded by many in the mental health field: http://psychcentral.com/ |

A good book to read on mental illness is called "The bondage breaker". It s written by a Christian author, a very good read. http://www.nami.org is a good source of info on mental illness. In some cases of mental illness, demonic activity may be a cause. A problem with mental illness these days, is that doctors only know about physical problems, But spiritual problems are something they know little or nothing about. So they are quick to call the patients problem mental illness and prescribe some meds. But sometimes all a patient needs is Jesus in their life. <>< |
