Hi there,
Thanks for your question...our search returned the following results:
After going through the Cato website, I realized that they are not
actually researcher, but instead specialize in helping pharmaceutical
and biotechnology companies introduce and market their products.

A more detailed list of the activities that they undertake is
available here:
http://www.cato.com/services-overview.htm
If you are curious about the types of people that work at Cato, here
is what the following link has to say:
"We have nearly 300 dedicated professionals to serve our clients,
including a high percentage of full-time physicians and Ph.D.
scientists. Further, our senior staff members have an average of more
than 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical development, including
expertise in medicine, science, statistics, regulatory requirements,
and finance. "

Looking into Wilson's Disease, the following resulted:
"Wilson's Disease is a genetic disorder that causes excessive copper
accumulation in the liver or brain. It affects about one in thirty
thousand people worldwide."
http://www.wilsonsdisease.org/
I also pulled a little more information about how the disease can be
treated, the prognosis who for those who have it, and the reasearch
centers involved in research of Wilson's Disease:

Conclusion:
Cato doesn't specify that they are only able/willing to take on
products that tackle specific diseases. They draw the boundary around
products that are used in a medical setting in general. This includes
drugs, diagnostic tools, medical supplies, and so forth. Once again,
they don't actually develop these things; instead, other groups
approach them with products that have come through the "lab" phase and
now need to be put through regulation, clinical trial, statistical
analysis, various reporting, and other such activities.
If you have a product (I would assume for Wilson's disease) that is at
this stage and are asking if Cato is capable of bringing it to a
marketable level, then I would say yes.
I hope this has given you the insight you required; if you have any
trouble with the information above feel free to post a clarification
:)
Cheers!
