From: srldps, raleigh, NC, 06/30/04 Question: I am working in the US on an L1(Employer A) visa and my I94 is valid for the next two years. I have another employer(B) who is ready to sponsor an H1. If I proceed with it I will get my H1 petition approved in another two months. Can I work on L1 visa if I get my H1 petition(I mean without going for H1 visa stamping)........Can I continue working on L1 status even though I have a valid H1 petition........Do I need to resign from employer A as soon as my H1 petition is approved ? I plan to leave the US almost 8 months after my H1B petition is approved and re-enter on H1 after visa stamping in India. Is adjustment of status possible from L1 to H1 without visa stamping ? Can you please advice me on this. |
