Hi
I have to migrate my j2ee project from wsad5.1.1 to weblogic8.1. My
project consits of an EJB module and a web application.

(NOTE: This project is developed by somebody else I just have to test
the code in weblogic.)

I got the project EAR file from wsad. I extracted EAR to get WAR and
JAR files and other files.

I deploy the EJB module using the admin console in weblogic.

In the deploy tab weblogic shows "Success", now I navigate to the
Configuration tab and click on the "Descriptors" tab, where I see
Exception "weblogic.utils.AssertionError".

1.What am I doing wrong.
2.How to remove this error.
3.What specifics should I consider before migrating from wsad to weblogic.

Similarly I deploy the web application and when i click on the url for
a servlet (e.g: http://localhost:7001/sample/HelloServlet) I get 500
Internal server error.
I believe the web application is dependant on EJB i.e why it is getting that error.

4.Am I right about the above assumption.(That means if i fix ejb
assertion error this error may be removed?)

5.If not what am I doing wrong.

Thanks a bunch
