Hi.

I'm currently typing on a Logitech iTouch wireless keyboard. I'm
going to replace it, because it's too slow! I can actually type
faster (in spurts) than it can transmit.

I got it because I like the idea of having nifty extra keys that I can
program to do neat things. I didn't really look at other options, I
just went for Logitech because it was "obvious".

But since I'm taking another crack at it, I figured I make sure I'm
getting something nifty.

So...

Please create a "short list" of keyboards and/or mice and/or
keyboard/mouse combos that have a lot of programmable buttons, knobs,
sliders, whatever. Spend time reading the forums and other material
on this site...

http://www.girder.nl/

...because I'd like you to determine what keyboards/mice work well with Girder.

Bottomline: I want a programmable, configurable, convience-making
keyboard/mouse combo. A product that works well with Girder might be
the best way to accomplish that. A product with great drivers and
configuration options might be another way to accomplish that as well.

(I have no need for wirelessness. In fact, based on my experience
with iTouch, I'm skeptical that wireless transmits keystrokes fast
enough.)

Thank you.
