I have wood floors in my whole house and I am not liking them much. I do not know how to get rid of the grim left behind after my kids have eaten. I have small kids and they spill/throw food on the floor. There is now a build up and I do not know how to get rid of it and keep it clean afterward. Help |

Hello pennyh~ First, start by scrubbing or mopping the floors, to get rid of built up residue. Assuming the seal on your floor is good, use a damp mop and vinegar. You may wish to towel the floor dry. To maintain the floor, vacuum it with a vacuum designed for bare floors, or use a broom with soft bristles.
