The usual course of action is using a 'storage' website to host your
pictures eg. Yahoo.com , photobucket.com and link from there to the
Ebay pages to show your pictures

Hello Nuala

I shall assume you know how to store (save) images on your computer.
If you don't, then please ask and it shall be explained. It's very
simple. You can also find instructions on this basic function of
operating your Personal Computer using its own Help function.

In my experience, most people successfully sell their items on eBay
with one simple picture or image. eBay offers to host one image per
auction item free. For an explanation on how to add images to your
auctions see eBay Help - Working with pictures - link below.

Q.
How do I add pictures using Picture Services?

A. If you are using the Full-featured service click on the "Add
Picture" button and find the picture file on your computer. If you are
using the Basic service, click on the "Browse" button and find the
picture file on your computer. When you select the picture file, the
file name for your photo is added to Picture Services. That's all
there is to it."
