Hello wryter~ There are many software applications that will turn a Word doc into a PDF file--but most are also for the Windows platform. Nonetheless, you might consider: * GoBLC: http://www.gohtm.com/convert_pdf2.asp * Adobe: https://createpdf.adobe.com/index.pl/1565417494.62133?BP=IE (will give you 5 free PDF files; free registration required) If you'll be making conversions frequently, you might consider spending $69 for PStill: http://www.stone.com/PStill/PStill.html You may also be interested in "Converting a Word File to PDF in Mac OS" at Virginia Tech: http://namaste.cc.vt.edu/ask4help/document/vtkb533.htm Regards, Kriswrite RESEARCH STRATEGY The best results came from: convert "for MAC" PDF free ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&c2coff=1&q=convert+%22for+MAC%22+PDF+free+&btnG=Search | |

If you are using OSX, you can save any document to PDF. Select the Print from the File menu, then in the dialog box, choose the save as PDF option. |
