What is a white field? Looking to make an analogy to a business
concept as seen with the use of green field for example. I don't
think it exist in a business context. What are the definitions in
science or business?

Hello.

I've had a pretty good look through a number of databases, and I just
don't see the phrase "white field" in use in any meaningful way in a
business or science context. Mostly, it shows up in descriptions of
flags (blue stars on a white field, for example). Occasionally, it's
used to describe the maturation of certain types of corn crops.

Can you tell us where/how you came across this phrase, and what leads
you to believe it has a business or science meaning? The better we
understand the background of your question, the more likely it is we
can help.

Thanks.

I don't claim to be an expert, but you will probably find a good
response from someone in agriculture (such as a farmer) since a "white
field" is usually indicative of a field that is ready for harvesting.
I'm not sure which crop specifically turns white.
