We are working on a new venture in the area of outsourcing, something
that we believe has not yet been tried. We are searching for someone
in India (though we are looking at other countries, India is our
first choice) who can assist us. My questions are:
1 - Where can we find names and contacts of firms?
2 - How can we evaulate them - ie make sure they are trustworthy?
Can we find lists of complaints from others? (like the US BBB)
3 - Anything specific we should beware of in working with these
smaller firms, either common practices or governmenatal issues?

Thank you, and our new venture will require labor rates much
lower then normal BPO standards, but we will not require high
skilled people and will need zero spoken English skills -
though reading comprehension and some PC/Net skills will be
needed. Any feedback in the 'Comments' section by others will
be much appreciated, and I am looking for 'lists of firms', a
satisfactory answer will not be 'visit our web site.' Thank you,
and we have already spoken to some of the major playsers and
they are not really what we need/want. For this Proof-of-Concept
test we only will require about 6 man-months of labor, and
expect to pay a premium above what our target rates are at roll-out.
