Question ID: 368444
Can someone tell me the overall costs associated with tinnitus
(ringing or other sounds in the ears) treatment in the U.S.? I am
interested in economic impact as well as the number of doctor visits,
lost work days, etc. Any information would be helpful.

I have seen a figure of $87 billion for the estimated cost of care per
year for people with hearing impairment, but do not know what the
number is for tinnitus in particular.
