I have a design for refrigerator magnets that I am test marketing.
If successful I would need someone to manufacture these and distrubute
them. I would also be interested in finding someone who would do the
whole manufacture/distribute/marketing job.
I have found some manufacturers on the web, but would prefer more
"full-service" type arrangements.
I therefore need contacts for manufacturer-distributors and info on
how they work in addition to info and contacts for those who can handle
the whole manufacture/distribute/marketing task. |

HI silly,
I need to know which country you're currently residing in. I also need
to know the areas where you intend to distribute your magnet.
Cheers,
aditya

silly1,
Without giving away any proprietary trade secrets, please tell us some
more details about your magnet design:
1. Are they basically just small sculptures? How small (thickness,
diameter)?
2. Is it just one design, or is it a series?
3. What do you see the non-magnet portion being made out of? Plastic
resin, hard plaster, vinyl, etc.?
4. Do they have any kind of active component (blinking lights, beeps,
etc.)?
5. Are they painted or printed in any way?
6. Do you have a ballpark retail price in mind for each magnet? What
are your test pieces selling for?
7. Will you be selling these in retail stores (like who?); online via
a Web site; or both?
8. What market -- kids, moms, crafters, etc. -- are you hoping to sell
to?
Can you post a picture or sketch of the magnets online and give us the
URL?
Thanks,
huntsman

Huntsman, I'll try to answer by number:
1. These are flexible plastic.
2. It is a series packaged together (about 30 more or less)
3. The test versions are printed on flexible magnets.
4. Nope
5. They are color printed.
6. The sets are being test marketed at 12.99 - 15.29 per set
7. I envision mostly retail (e.g. Bed, Bath and Beyond). Maybe
on the web, too.
8. Target market is moms.
Thanks,
silly1
