Dear pony123-ga;
Thank you for allowing me to answer your interesting question.
The Moon's average distance from the Earth is 384,467 kilometers (or
238,896.7 miles). To put that into perspective for you, that is a
distance roughly 30 times the width of the Earth. If one were to
travel at 1000 kilometers per hour (621.37 mph) non-stop, it would
take about 16 days to reach the moon.

The deepest place in the ocean is near the Mariana Islands in the
Pacific. The water there is just over 38,635 feet below sea level in a
place called the Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench. Needless to
say this also happens to be the lowest place on Earth. To put that in
perspective for you too, 38,635 is well over 7 miles deep ? and that?s
deep, especially when you consider the fact that Mount Everest is only
6 miles high!
