Hi there, I have spent the last year and a half building and developing my online business selling toys and games. The website is http://www.agameshop.co.uk Until recently I have enjoyed high search engine results. However on the 22nd of June 2004 they dropped dramatically. The results I once had were consistent all year so it is difficult to know what has changed, or even more frustating.... how to fix it!! Example results on Google.com Roulette Wheels - Before # 1 - Now # 20 Pool Tables - Before # 4 - Now # 21 Air Hockey Tables - Before #1 - Now #23 Remote Control Toys - Before #1 and #2 - Now # No where at all Football Tables - Before #1 - Now #26 These results were linked to http://www.ishop.co.uk/ishop/992/ and not gained through http://www.agameshop.co.uk The ishop domain is owned by my e-commerce provider Intellnet Ltd who operate the shopping mall www.ishop.co.uk. So in short I have the domain name www.agameshop.co.uk which is re-directed on the server (not through a meta re-direct) straight to either http://www.agameshop.co.uk/ishop/992/shopscr123.html or http://www.ishop.co.uk/ishop/992/shopscr123.html or wwww.agameshop.co.uk had a page rank of 5 which is now 4. ishop.co.uk had and still has a PR of 6. I do not believe this is due to mirroring, as it would have been picked up long ago and my page rank would have been changed to PR 0. The only recent changes I can think of are a new product finder on ishop.co.uk which google may not like. Also as far as I am aware my domain is on the same ISP as ishop. Would it make a difference if these would changed to serpate addresses? As a result of this change I have now lost over 40% of my traffic. I still pay for Google Ad Words, but these are expensive and are not as valuable. I am welcome to anybody that can offer any help or advice. I don't know what to offer as payment but I'm sure something can be agreed, depending on the level of help given. Kind regards, Paul Smith |
