I have trouble with my air conditioner, an "Emerson quite cool" since the time our window was changed and the air condition reinstalled: On a high humidity or moderately cool day the cooling"fins" (or whatever you call them) fill up with ice and block the fan from blowing air through them. Water also drips on the window sill. The air condition sits strait and is NOT tilted inwards. What I suspect is that the conduit leading the water from where it condenses to the outside evaporator is partially blocked. Could anybody advise me either how to get to this conduit and clean it, or how to find a book, website instuction or other information to tell me how to do this, or how to find a repairman in Baltimore MD willing and able to do this. |
