Help !

I have a wedding to attend Sunday afternoon. All my clothes are in
one big compost pile in the middle of the living room.

A 5-star answer would be 2 dry cleaners located somewhere between San
Francisco and Redwood City, California. Here's the hard part: I need
to drop off Friday (today) at 5 PM and pickup Saturday at 5 PM.

Most dry cleaners do not offer same-day service on Saturdays.

If you find an answer, I promise to make a wedding
toast in your honor.

Thanks a million !
ron

Hello Ron,

You?ve got a tough situation. I?ve made some phone calls and most dry
cleaners don?t run their machines on Saturday. Can you tell me what
item(s) you need dry cleaned? One of the companies I talked to kept
asking for specific information about this before deciding what they
could do. Waiting with bated breath.

czh,

You are The Best. (I didn't know this would be so tough. Serves me right!)

It would be a suit (jacket + pants). Of course, if I can't find a
cleaner it may be T-shirt and shorts. heh heh heh

Steph53 may be right...my Plan B would be new clothes.

Thanks, czh.

ron

P.S. Given the difficulty of the task, one dry cleaners would now be
a 5-star answer, and worth a $5 tip. Thanks !

Hello again Ron,

I?ve found two cleaners that can handle the job for you. Both can
handle the job if you drop if tonight and one of them can even do it
if you drop off by 10:00 tomorrow morning.

Have a great time at the wedding.

Hi Ron...

Sheesh...What a bind to be in.
I don't know any dry cleaners in your area but if none are found, I
guess your only other alternative would be to buy a new suit.
Expensive but......
Good luck!!

Thanks Ron for the very generous tip. Even if you're just a spectator,
weddings can be overwhelming. I'm glad I was able to help with your
last minute chore.

Blessings on the bride and groom.

czh----thanks for your kindness. The bride and groom are wonderful
people---the kind who will be married 50+ years.

Separately, I just returned from San Carlos. Turns out your answer
was even more helpful than I originally thought. The dry cleaner
explained that I could even pick up and deliver in two different
cities on the same day ! Moreover, he was one of those fellows who
took great pride in his work. He's obviously become rich by "doing it
right." Inspirational !

Thanks again, czh. I appreciate your work.
