I am looking for a list of private companies that file reports
quarterly with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.  I believe
that private companies that have more than $10,000,000 in assets and
500 shareholders must file quarterly reports.  I have already reviewed
the Forbes list of largest private companies, but it does not list
those that report with the SEC.  (Very few would have more than 500
shareholders.)  I am looking for a list of at least 20 companies not
just the name of one or two companies.  Thanks.

Hi Bobby7.  Thanks for your prompt reply.  I've looked at your links,
but have found that Seagate is a public company (not private).  Two
other companies, Dr. Pepper and Cumberland Farms are private, but they
have not filed reports with the SEC since 1997.  Do you know of a
comprehensive list of private companies that do file with the SEC?

I apologize for the three companies that I provided that were not
appropriate. I am not aware of a pre-made list of private companies
that file reports quarterly with the US Securities and Exchange
Commission; however I did additional researcher and I located a few
