where can i find a a java program for 2D bin packing problem where i can give set of rectangles of size of both width and height that needs to be fitted in a recthaguar bin of specified size with already filled in by some rectangles of specified position and size or if some one can write java utiity class that i can use it in my program also helps. |

You do realize that this problem is provably NP-? There is extensive literature on this; while the results can be computed, all known techniques for determining the time taken to calculate the results increases exponentially with the number of rectangles specified... |

i just need some simple program which contains about 5-8 rectangle , the rectangles are alreay prefilled, there is only one rectangle outside the bin that i need to fill in . |
