Question ID: 369357
I need suggestions for a business name that would also be
suitable and available as a website URL. The Category I am in is
event tickets aftermarket sales (concerts, theatre, sports). I want a
name that sounds professional and is easy to remember. The word
"ticket" or "tickets" needs to be somewhere in the name. For example,
"The Ticket Connection" or "Front Row Tickets". (those are both
taken, so don't give me those!) Researcher should supply at least 25
potential names.

Also, keep in mind that this name will need to look good on business
cards and invoices, etc. Also, the customers for this type of
business are concerned not just about prices, but good service, fast
shipping, honesty, integrity and stability as well.

Yes, Crythias ...

But aren't biz extensions naff?

I don't understand the reference for naff. It's up to the questioner
to determine the appropriateness, and since .com wasn't explicitly
specified... Likewise, domains with a - aren't exactly easy to
remember... Nonetheless, Let's compromise! dashtickets.com is
available :)

Ticketyboom.com is available. It may be a bit whimsical, but it's easy to remember.

You don't need to restrict yourself to new domain names. Most of the
really good names have been gone for years. However, there are many
great names that can be purchased reasonably, and the marketing
advantage may outweigh the initial cost. Another alternate is expired
domains.

According to http://www.dailychanges.com, There were 29,225,643 ".com"
domains, with 27,446 expiring and 37,572 being transferred yesterday
alone.

Two sources of domains are http://thedomainexchange.com and
http://greatdomains.com.

Some of the best domains are available for resale, but are not listed
on any reseller's catalog. An example of that is AllSoldOut.com,
which appears to be in use but in reality is available for resale.

Suggest considering great names that are already in use, contacting
the domain holder, and finding out if the price makes sense for your
business plan.

Good luck!

I've got it - call your company " Ticklets "
derived from: (TICKet + outLETS) & (TICKets + saLEs + AftermarkeTS)

It sounds like Chicklets, the gum, and its just as easy to remember
(why do you think the gum company chose "their" name? Because it's
catchy, fun to say and easy to remember).

Many "Ticklets" domains are curently open. I believe the .com domain
is owned but not currently used and accepting offers.

WHOIS
http://www.networksolutions.com/en_US/whois/results.jhtml;jsessionid=GXUNP3QGTWDAQCWLEALCFEY?whoistoken=0&_requestid=708957

My idea certainly doesn't amount to 25 suggestions, but it IS a good
one that would look great on a business card or advertisment. Give it
some serious thought and let me know.

I love Voila's creation "Ticktockets" and Tutuzdad's suggestion
"Ticklets." These names are imaginative, evocative, and memorable!
