Howdy detclouseau-ga,

One of the items introduced into evidence (making it part of the transcipts)
at the trial of O.J. Simpson was a memo written by Mark Fuhrman in which he
describes his contact with Nicole Simpson. From a web site maintained by
Jack Walraven.
http://simpson.walraven.org/fuhr-rpt.html

"During the fall or winter of 1985 I responded to a 415 family dispute at 360
N. Rockingham. Upon arrival I observed two persons in the front of the estate,
a male black pacing on the driveway and a female wht sitting on a veh crying.
I inquired if the persons I observed were the residents at which time the male
black stated, 'Yeah, I own this, I'm O.J. Simpson!' My attention turned to the
female who was sobbing and asked her if she was alright but before she could
speak the male black (Simpson) interrupted stating, 'she's my wife, she's
okay!' During my conversation with the female ..."

Transcripts for both the criminal and civil trials of O.J. Simpson can be found
at Mr. Walraven's excellent web site:
http://simpson.walraven.org/

"The Simpson Trial Transcripts"

There might be other mentions buried in the transcripts on the above site.

This University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law web page on the trial
indicates the wedding date of O.J. and Nicole Simpson.
http://www.law.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/Simpson/Brown-Simpson.htm

"The two were married soon afterwards on February 2, 1985, with a child
following a just months after their marriage."

So, the Mark Fuhrman memo describes an incident that happened later in the
same year that O.J. and Nicole Simpson were married.

If you need any clarification, feel free to ask.

I do not think any contact between Nicole Simpson and Mark Fuhrman was
ever mentioned during the trial, but you might be interested in
reading a book called "Legacy of Deception," by Stephen Singular:

"We are led to presume that the source is in the LAPD, or has some
very tight connection to the police investigation, but Singular can
not be specific about this. The source tells Singular about a stick,
found on Simpson's parkway, and a blue bag, found in the neighbor's
yard across the fence from the Rockingham glove. In August 1994 these
items were not publicly known. Of more immediate interest, the source
said that Fuhrman had 'known' Nicole, in some unspecified way, and to
some unspecified degree, and believed from the moment that he saw her
corpse that she had been killed by O.J. To thwart the possibility that
expensive defense lawyers would get Simpson off, Fuhrman decided
immediately to take steps to 'strengthen the evidence' against the
person he knew to be actually guilty. He made a preliminary trip to
Rockingham before Lange and Vannatter showed up at Bundy,
unsuccessfully looking for evidence. On a second trip when all four
detectives went to Simpson's estate, Fuhrman carried the right hand
glove he had found at Bundy, and after hearing that there had been a
disturbance behind Kato's room, planted it there. (In the ultimate
version that the source revealed, Fuhrman was supposed to have also
broken into the Bronco in some unknown way, and swiped the bloody
glove around inside.)"

Wow! Great work, Denco! I watched the entire trial, and somehow this
slipped from memory.
